Drawing Notation, Parts

Contains controls used to establish notations for the selected part. These notations appear in the drawings.



SettingDescription
Auto Dimensions group box The following settings are available.
  • Type — Select the type of dimension to use in the notation. Available dimension types are:
    • None
    • Overall
    • Openings
    • Openings (if necessary)
    • Openings on axis
    • Openings on axis (if necessary)
    • Openings indented
    • Openings indented (if necessary)
  • Position — Select the position with respect to the part for the notation. Available dimension positions are:
    • Right
    • Left
  • Distance — Enter the distance to position the notation away from the part.
OK Saves changes and dismisses the dialog.
Cancel Discards changes and dismisses the dialog.
Apply Applies changes without dismissing the dialog.
